This is a unique and rare mushroom in British Columbia. It doesn't look real, but it definitely is a fungi. The mushroom is stinky and the sticky brown part is what attracts insects in order to distribute the mushrooms spores (seeds) around the forest. It's kind of gorgeous though phallic.
