I'm spending 3 days in the wild backpacking in the Lake District National Park. I've chosen the Lake District as my solo wild camping destination. The plan is to do some serious thru hiking taking in many of the Wainwright Walks in the beautiful lake district. I'm solo camping so I've got all my wild camping gear with me as I need to be totally self-sufficient. Backpacking for 3 days won't be easily especially as I'll be wild camping in the rain and wind.
I'm using the 2022 Tarptent Scarp as my 1 person tent. It's a 4 season tent that can withstand all sorts of conditions including solo wild camping in heavy rain and strong winds.

My wild camp spot was Little Hart Crag at 637 metres above sea level. This is an unknown wild camping spot. However, is a perfect solo camping spot for a couple of backpackers.
The Wainwrights in Part 3 include:
Little Hart Crag
Red Screes
These are part of the Eastern Fells in the Lake District National Park.

Part of hiking the Wainwright Fells is to show you what you can achieve when out solo backpacking. Hiking with a heavy backpack bag isn't easy but it can be done with a little perseverance and determination. You need to get the best balance of the best camping gear versus weight.
