This video is all about how I prepared a quilt to finish it outside away from home! I made the quilt top and attached the binding at home (with just the tiniest amount of quilting done first). Then I prepared all my hand quilting supplies so I could finish the quilt on the road.
This quilt is made with my Criss Cross Cabin quilt pattern, which will be available soon!
I used a variety of fabrics and took a very scrappy approach to making this quilt. As a scrap quilt, it includes a lot of different fabrics in pinks, blues, purples, whites, and creams. For cohesiveness, all colours related back to a purple floral fabric that I love.
The finished quilt has such beautiful texture thanks to the mainly hand stitch quilting across the quilt. I used leftover binding that matched my quilt colours to save a little time.
