This setup functions flawlessly with minimal felt recoil in the prone position. However, the high angle of the butt stock makes it very difficult to attain proper cranial alignment with the iron sights with a strong cheek weld. The shooting session required several adjustments to the shooter's position. This problem could potentially be mitigated by replacing the wood stock with a modern adjustable polymer stock and even taller adjustable bipods.
The mask is a MIRA Safety CM-7M Military Gas Mask. It was used to test how difficult the firearm would be to deploy in a CBRN environment.
