💡 This tutorial demonstrates aggregating the real-time bandwidth of more than one nooelec SDR for spectrum monitoring using Simulink. In this case, the response of four NESDRs is combined. This can work with any number of SDR dongles, provided the Simulink model is amended to include the extra dongles accordingly.

👉 You will need to setup Communications Toolbox Support Package for RTL-SDR Radio and connect the 4 x SDRs together using one USB Hub device through a USB 3.0 port to provide enough power. It is recommended to use a HUB with an external power supply when using more SDR dongles.
👉 You will also need to download "Software-Defined Radio Using MATLAB, Simulink, and the RTL-SDR" eBook support files from the below link and point Simulink to "\rtlsdr_book_library" directory inside the main folder after extracting the downloaded archive.

🤓 Data is plotted using a manually written spectrum analyzer block that would stitch adjacent bands together after reordering the FFT data. Alternatively, you may reorder and aggregate the FFT data through different function blocks, then plot the results using the Simulink library spectrum analyzer block.
