The World Health Organisation has defended the credibility of an investigation into the origins of COVID-19 after receiving global criticism over the legitimacy of the inquiry’s findings.

A team of experts spent 28 days on the ground in Wuhan in an effort to understand how the pandemic first began with preliminary findings suggesting the novel coronavirus first originated in bats.
