Swimsuit-clad Sophie Turner passionately kisses co-star Frank Dillane while filming Joan In Spain - days after she and husband Joe Jonas confirmed they are set to divorce

Swimsuit-clad Sophie Turner was pictured passionately kissing her co-star Frank Dillane while filming ITV drama Joan in Spain.

The actress, 27, had a big smile on her face as she frolicked in the water with Frank, just over a week after she and husband Joe Jonas confirmed their marriage of four years is over.

Sporting wet hair, Sophie wore a bright patterned top over her plunging green one-piece as she was lifted up in the air by Frank while she laughed uproariously and kicked her legs.

Frank could be seen almost toppling over as Sophie pushed towards him, after posing up a storm in the sea with her hands on her hips.

Just over one week after announcingthey 'mutually decided' to split in a joint statement on Instagram, the English actress, best known for her starring role as Sansa Stark on Game of Thrones, appeared to be focusing on work as she filmed her new drama.
The estranged couple share daughter Willa, three, and a second daughter born in July 2022.

Sophie, who portrays notorious jewel thief Joan Hannington in the upcoming ITVX show, got into character in a blonde wig.

Joan, who was married to professional thief Boisie Hannington (played by Frank), was introduced to a life of crime and the pair became Britain's most successful diamond thieves.

Not much is known about Frank's dating history, he was last seen walking hand-in-hand with a mystery woman in Sussex in 2018, but is currently believed to be single.

Sophie and Joe stated their breakup was 'a united decision' and they 'mutually agreed' to end their marriage.

'After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually agreed to amicably end our marriage,' they said in a statement, which she uploaded to her Instagram.

They pair concluded: 'There are many speculative narratives as to why but, truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.'

Jonas officially filed for divorce from wife Sophie last Tuesday with documents stating that their relationship is 'irretrievably broken.'

Over the weekend, he got emotional while shed some light on how he's been doing since news broke that they called it quits.
While performing to a sold-out crowd at Los Angeles' Dodger Stadium on Saturday night, the Sucker hitmaker broke his silence over their ongoing divorce.

'It's been a tough week. I just wanna say, look, if you don't hear it from these lips, don't believe it. Okay?' the two-time Grammy nominee said during an emotional interlude.

'Thank you everyone for your love and support. Me and my family love you guys,' he continued.

After his statement, Joe and his brothers sang Hesitate, which he has dedicated to Sophie in the past.

Turner and Jonas initially met in 2016 after the latter sent his wife a direct message through Instagram.

The hitmaker was previously linked to numerous individuals, including Taylor Swift, Gigi Hadid and Ashley Greene.

He eventually moved on with Sophie, and they went Instagram official with their relationship in January of 2017.

The happy couple became engaged that October, and they held a pair of wedding ceremonies in Las Vegas and southern France in May and June of 2019.

Turner and Jonas subsequently started a family with the birth of their daughter Willa, three, in July of 2020.

The pair waited for two years before they welcomed another daughter, whose name has not been publicly revealed as of yet, in June of last year.


In 2020, the actress spoke fondly about her relationship with Jonas during an interview with Elle, where she expressed that she felt as if she ended up with the right person.

'I love being married. I think it's wonderful. I'm sure we'll have our hiccups and our different things. But right now, it's like the security and the safety is everything,' she said.

Turner also discussed exactly what made the Disney Channel alum so attractive as a partner.

'He's so handsome, talented, funny, charismatic. I'm really lucky to be with him and have someone like him want to be around me and spend time with me,' she said.

Back in November, it was announced that Sophie is set to star as Joan - one of the most notorious figures in the London's criminal underworld.

In a statement at the time, Sophie said she's 'so excited' to bring the 'fascinating' story of Joan - known as 'The Godmother - to life.
