This walk that I call “Eleven Bridges across the Thames” starts at London Bridge with a look at Southwark Cathedral and finishes at Westminster Bridge with Big Ben and The Houses of Parliament in the background. It’s part of the Queens Walk on the south side of the Thames and has some of London’s most famous landmarks including Tate Modern, the London Eye and Shakespeare's Globe to name three.
It’s a lovely part of the Thames with so much to see and do, at bankside you go down to water level which is getting harder to do along this busy stretch of the river. My walk takes me to one of the narrowest streets I have ever seen in London called Cardinal Cap Alley next to Shakespeare's Globe.
You will also see some hidden gems that most Londoners have not even seen, such as, the remains of Winchester Palace, the largest and most important building in all of medieval London in the early 13th century. So please do sit back and enjoy the full playlist - immerse yourself in one of the greatest cities in the world.
