Vibro Sifter Verification & Process:

Ensure the cleanliness of the sifter decks & sieves, assemble the sifter decks & sieves as per BMR. Keep the Teflon rings/balls under the sieve i.e for free moving the powder. The top weight on the motor shaft rotates in a plane close to the centre of the mass of assembly. Rotation of the top eccentric weights creates vibration in the horizontal plane which causes material to move across the screen increasing the horizontal throw, causing oversize material to discharge at a faster rate.

To verify the vibration of the machine, drop some paper pieces on sieve during vibration and see how the paper pieces are coming through discharge chute.

Operation:

Add the material i.e the amount of material on the screen should be small so that larger particles do not obstruct the passage of small particles. The motion should not be too vigorous to cause size reduction of the particles or damage to the screen. lined with double polythene bag below the outlet of sifter & tightly hold the polybag with sifter to avoid any spillage of the material.
