Today we're adding even more animals to the farm - this time it's St. Croix sheep.

We'll talk through our decision to add these three St. Croix rams, discuss where we found them and watch as they get acclimated to their new home.

For those of you that are new to sheep, St. Croix sheep are hair sheep. We brought them in to complement our Katahdins which share very similar characteristics. The real advantage to these breeds are their resistance to parasites, making them much more hardy. Pair that with proper grazing practices and you'll avoid many of the problems that you hear about when raising sheep!
