videography / photography outside in direct sunlight makes harsh shadows that are terrible. A Sun Scrim is a portable, Light weight shade that eliminates that! They also cost a ton of money so just make your own! DIY project that will only take an hour or so!
Materials:
3x 10 foot 1/2 inch PVC pipes
8x PVC 1/2 inch T joints
pipe cutter- use garden loppers if you have them
1x twin white flat sheet- get one from the thrift store- it doesn't need to be super clean.
10 feet para cord/ any rope
thread and needle if your unlucky
sewing machine if your lucky
Make 8 loops of cord and attach to the middle and corners of the sheet to attach the rope.
This is by far the most labor intensive part but I knocked it out in less than an hour. You got this.
Wrap the sheet around the frame and cinch it tight with a loop of rope.
If you want to use BUNGEE CORDS to hold it together, go for it.
