Today we're going to be taking a look at the Erickson E-track strap with the cam lock buckle. Now this is a very strong and durable strap that's gonna do a great job at securing cargo in your trailer or truck bed. The ends of the strap feature the E-track connections, which easily connect and easily secure to E-track systems. They're a really nice, durable steel construction, and they have protective finishing on them to keep them safe from rust and corrosion, also where the strap is connected you'll see there how it's a heavy duty stitching design, so that creates a nice, strong connection point where a lot of the tension is placed right here on the E-track connector. The strap itself is blue in color. It's made from a durable polyester material. The cam lock buckle is this unit here, this easily tightens the tie down strap to secure your cargo, so with the strap running through there what you can do is you can simply pull on the excess, and that's going to allow you to tighten the strap over your load or over your gear.

This cam lock buckle has a serrated tooth design, and so that allows the strap to come through one way, but it does not allow it to pull through it the other way unless you hit the release lever. So that's gonna be how you loosen the load or loosen the strap or release the tension when you're ready to disconnect the strap. The unit's very easy to control, nice large lever. Has a couple ridges there, so it has an easy grip design. That way you can operate it really in any temperature if you have some gloves on, it's still gonna be easily accessible and easy to operate. Now again the cam buckle and the E-track connections are made from a durable steel, and they have protective finishing on them, which are gonna keep them protected from rust and corrosion.

When it comes to the dimensions of the strap, this is a two inch wide strap, and you're gonna have about 16 feet of strap to work with. It's gonna feature a maximum load or break strength rating of 2,500 pounds, and it's safe working low limit of 833 pounds. Now please keep in mind that tie down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit, and the weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined working load limit of the straps being used.
