In 2022 we picked up a custom enquiry from a local client who brought in her own ideas and layout.

Whilst at Ruru we usually focus on repetitive design and set schedules for a build, this was a great opportunity for us to learn and experiment with new materials, different styles and finishings. A lot went into this home including sweat, tears and a lot of love.

We’re extremely proud and happy with the result of this beautiful custom tiny home, it sure has been a journey, but we’re very glad to see how perfect it turned out - so is the owner!

A price you ask? It’s priceless! 😂 but seriously, fully customised Ruru tiny homes will be quoted off a base price depending on size, number of bedrooms and will be specific to interior and exterior materials including necessary labour allocation.

The base price for our 10x3M Toroa model is $215,000 inc.

The Toroa is a double storey, two bedroom, tiny home on wheels. Offering height and space, the Toroa has ceilings in bathroom and kitchen of 2100mm height and a standing height of 1900mm on the walkway. On a 10x3m platform, this home boasts 49.5m2 floorspace.
