► Thousands of members of the RMT union in England, Wales and Scotland are staging two 48-hour strikes, starting from today, as the bitter dispute over pay, jobs and conditions rumbles on.
Train drivers in the Aslef union will strike on Thursday and on the 12th January Prospect members on the Elizabeth Line in London are to go on strike which is expected the cause chaos for commuters.
