Timmy Gatling Interview Playlist [ Ссылка ]
The first group in which Gatling was involved was Kids at Work, including future new jack swing pioneer Teddy Riley and Clurel Henderson. After they cut and released one album, Riley and Gatling formed a new trio called Guy with Aaron Hall. Gatling was only with the two other members of that group while making the debut album. But after that was completed, he was pushed out of the group by their controlling manager Fen Griffin, and Aaron's younger brother, Damion Hall, took his place.
Striking it alone, Gatling went solo, cutting and releasing his debut and one-and-only album, Help!, on Tommy Boy Records. He dropped several singles, including the title track and "Rock Me Good". It is uncertain whether they were ever hits, and if they did chart, it is unknown how they charted as well. Following those, he went behind the scenes writing songs for other acts, such as Christopher Williams and Bell Biv Devoe.
