Just to be clear I am aware that this is a graphic equalizer and that most of its features show up on units from multiple other brands, though generally not every feature at once. That being said, it gave me a chuckle seeing the exact feature set (shy of the FBQ), layout, even fader caps, on a competing product (right down the ranges on the subwoofer crossover, the low cut, and the high cut).
Anyway, I can see why. All the features on the FBQ series are useful and generally well thought out. Hopefully this video will help anyone considering one of the models. To sum up some of the differences:
Original vs HD: It looks like they used a different set of op amps and changed the power supply to operate in more regions.
They all have the FBQ and adjustable crossover/subwoofer out.
FBQ1502 and FBQ1502HD - 15 band, set low cut, no high cut
FBQ3102 and FBQ3102HD - 31 band, adjustable low and high cut
FBQ6200 and FBQ6200HD - 31 band, same features as the 3102 but adds a limiter and pink noise generator. Larger faders for more precision adjustments.
