Can you trust Total VPN?

Total VPN as of the recording of this video is still part of the overall TotalAV app. This means that there is no way to get the VPN as a separate tool, it's all or nothing with Total products. However for me personally this is great since I don't really like having hundreds of apps for each separate task, and when you offer me one of the best antivirus on the market combined with VPN, I can't say no to that.

TotalVPN Streaming and Torrenting

A lot of you might just want to grab a VPN for streaming services, and in that regard Total VPN is okay. It managed to unblock a few libraries I've tried but it struggled quite a bit with others, I think while trying to connect to BBC iPlayer I've changed my server 5 or 6 times, even cleaned out my cookies, and gosh darn it actually worked… not the smoothest process mind you, but it works. I had better success with HBO and Hulu, but even that wasn't from the first try. And sadly, my journey ended here, I couldn't unlock other services. Honestly, TotalVPN streaming is just OKAY, there are way better tools for that, like ExpressVPN.

You probably get the gist of it, Total VPN as of now is solely focused on the security aspect of its VPN, and to be fair, as I've said countless times, security is the core of VPN. So it's not bad, but even when testing out Total VPN torrenting abilities, I just feel like this tool is unfinished. Maybe I got too spoiled with VPNs having features on top of features but some specialized tools for torrenting would be great. As it is now, it doesn't limit torrenting on any server but it doesn't offer any benefit to it, and remembering TotalVPN performance I definitely would advise you to grab other VPNs for torrenting.

Conclusion

Well, it's difficult to do a TotalVPN review since it's so new and a lot of my issues can just be fixed within a year. But currently, TotalVPN is a great option if you want just a security tool or if you are looking to get TotalAV antivirus since it's a nice extra to have. But every other part of this tool is sort of half-baked, it lacks extra features and entertainment-unblocking capabilities. But after hearing all my points, you've already decided if TotalVPN is for you…
