Its your last 24 hours in Indonesia - what are you going to have for lunch today?! A tricky question for sure, especially with all the delicious food in Medan... but I make my choice (maybe even better than I imagined!!).
Sate is a style of BBQ that originates in Indonesia (you can watch to the end of the video for a short history lesson), but first let's taste and see if these amazing looking skewers are as good as we've heard them to be...
Searching around, reading as best as I could, this was the one restaurant that seems to serve the best, most authentic, and most tasty Sate BBQ in all of Medan! I am very happy to share this meal with you today.
I think that Li and I have one more video to share (a shorter one, not a meal, but a fun/exploration video), and so I can say a big Thank You to you for your support, its been an absolutely amazing trip, I cannot wait for the next visit, and thank you for all the comments and messages you've sent during this time. We made a lot of new friends, we saw some gorgeous places, and the memories will be very long-lasting (as are the flavors! Especially today's "Sambal Kacang," oh wow...) - see you for the next adventure.
