Governor Greg Gianforte stopped by NBC Montana Today on Wednesday for a live interview that covered affordable housing, property taxes, income taxes, ranked choice voting, abortion rights, and whether or not he will debate his opponent.
Gianforte said his Housing Task Force has worked to reduce regulation and that work has caused average rents in Missoula to come down about 24% in the last year.
"That's making it more affordable for people to get into houses," Gianforte said.
