The Pamir shipwreck lies just north of Speightstown Barbados. She's an absolutely amazing wreck to dive on- not far offshore and usually has a marker bouy on it for boats so relatively easy to locate. The reef is called Vauxhall. The bow sits in about 45ft and the stern is about 60ft. This vessel was sunk on purpose in 1985 as a dive site for scuba divers. It is one of two sister ships- the other being the friars Craig on the south coast which is now broken into many pieces. The west coast offers a much more sheltered area fromThe swells and current more prevalent on the south and south east side of the island. This ship has many swim throughs as well with easy access and exit points. Lots of nice fish as well.
Just off the bow to the north is the mini submarine- you can see aBit of it in my compilation video on the shipwrecks of Barbados I’ll link it here below-
