The debate on maize farming in the country continues to gain momentum with Deputy President William Ruto saying those who refused to embrace diversification are fools. The Deputy was speaking in Trans Nzoia, a key maize growing area and he was talking to leaders and a gathering of farmers who had pleaded with him to help increase the amount offered by government per bag of maize sold by farmers.
