I developed a robust H-bridge motor driver for brushed DC motors (DC motor speed and rotation control) (h bridge dc motor control), leveraging two IR2104 half-bridge drivers, four powerful IRF3205 MOSFETs for high current handling, and a CA-IS3720 digital isolation chip to ensure electrical safety and noise immunity. This design offers precise bidirectional motor control with high efficiency, making it suitable for demanding applications. The implementation emphasizes reliability, scalability, and seamless integration into existing control systems, showcasing an optimized approach to DC motor driving solutions.
The driver input supports both 3.3V and 5V logic levels for the PWM and supply (3.3V/5V supply). This means you can even use a cheap 5V Arduino board, STM32 board, or whatever similar hardware to drive your DC motors.
I used Altium Designer to design the schematic and PCB. I've uploaded the project files into the Altium-365 could space. From the first link register on the Altium-365 website to download the project files for free and build your own circuit.
