56 year old British Rail Type 4 Class 47 Co-Co diesel locomotive 47772 'Carnforth TMD' in Royal Scotsman Claret livery leading preserved and mainline certified London and North Eastern Railway (LNER) Class B1 4-6-0 steam locomotive 61306 'Mayflower' on a Southall- Colchester ECS (Empty Coaching Stock) northbound at Hatfield Peverel Station on the Great Eastern Main Line in the County of Essex (UK).
61306 was heading to Colchester for overnight stabling in readiness for a series of 'EUR175' rail tours over the next two days in East Anglia to celebrate the 175th anniversary of the Eastern Union Railway (EUR) reaching Ipswich in 1846.
