Keyboard users can skip past the section on controls, as it does not apply to that control scheme. Keyboard and mouse controls suffer from none of the obstacles described. You can also click-drag to move items and perform the inventory reload. Don't forget to change the item menu prioritization from D-pad to Numerical in the keyboard/mouse settings. This makes the game default to assigning your weapons to the numbers closer to WASD, as opposed to the 2, 4, 6 and 8 slots for the d-pad.

I don't think RE5 is given enough credit for what it is; way better than 4, at any rate. There is a lot more I could cover, but this should be enough to get you started, or at least appreciate the game some more.
