November 25 marks the beginning of 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence. It also coincides with the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women.

The 16 days will run through the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women on December 6, and concludes on December 10 which is International Human Rights Day.
