H.E. President Salva Kiir Mayardit gives okay to the Sudd Institute to be allowed to resume its duties in the country. In August this year, The National Security Service has shut down The Sudd Institute in Juba, a leading think tank, days after a coalition of civil society activists (PCCA) launched a campaign calling for change in the country.
