i had some more thoughts on testing of the balance tube. here's a second very long video with a lot of twiddling of the idle. i finally get the idle slowed down and engine fairly well balanced and the vinyl balance tube deforms which stops some of my testing. i replace the vinyl tube with a length of fuel hose and continue testing. ultimately i pull the tube and go back to my original setup of no tube. you must keep in mind that this is a dellorto setup on CB performance dual port twisty manifolds. i'm sure a weber 34 ICT with this intake setup would perform about the same.
