【Synopsis】During the reign of Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, Wei Xiaobao, a young man from the bottom rung of society, relies on his extraordinary wit to climb the ranks in the palace.

Wei Xiaobao (Zhang Yishan) is a man from the streets with an ordinary background. He does not know any martial arts yet accidentally becomes embroiled in the affairs of the pugilistic world.
