Multiple Sclerosis is a disease of the central nervous system and is an autoimmune disease that attacks our body. Symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis are numbness, stiffness or weakness in the limbs, bladder & bowel dysfunction, sexual dysfunction, emotional disturbances, difficulty in swallowing, loss of vision or sight, etc. The diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis involves an MRI scan, Lumbar puncture, and VPA test. The different types are Relapsing-remitting Multiple Sclerosis, Secondary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis, Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis and Progressive relapsing Multiple Sclerosis. The most common one is Relapsing-remitting Multiple Sclerosis.
