Here's a look into our Summer Leadership Academy (SLA). SLA is a leadership program for SBM students K-12th grade designed to raise the expected outcomes for our mentees by creating opportunities for them to become leaders in the community. Students meet four days a week for seven weeks and focus on bible literacy, critical thinking, leadership, and service. In addition, students are exposed to motivational speakers, small group discussions, field trips, businesses, college campuses, and other places to help them learn and visualize a life beyond their circumstances. Due to its success, SBM SLA has been endorsed by the Boerne Independent School District (BISD).
