I don't know why they changed the name. It is the same company as Akita in Scottsdale but not as good. This is worth about $11.95 for an all you can eat, but not anywhere near the $27 that they charge for dinner.
I ordered the spicy tuna roll and the spicy scallop roll and neither one had any meat to speak of in the filling. It was mostly some kind of crunchy rice mixed in with a tiny tiny bit of meat. I spoke with the manager and he said they don't even make the filling fresh. It comes in a bag.
I tried a couple of their other specialty rolls and none of them tasted very good. the sashimi was not very fresh and had no flavor. I tried the tuna & the white tuna.
Save up a few dollars more and go eat at Sakura in Scottsdale. You won't be disappointed.
