This webinar will discuss the alignment between the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) Framework and the CDP Climate Questionnaire.
In many countries, a TCFD report is legally required to document climate change risks and actions to mitigate them in large publicly traded corporations. The CDP Climate Questionaire is a widely adopted “optional” de facto reporting mechanism.
There is significant connectivity between TCFD and the CDP questionnaire. The similarities and differences will be examined. In addition, the current status of TCFD will be discussed. Because TCFD and CDP provide for Scope 3 GHG emission disclosures, a high-level overview of Scope 3 categories will be covered.
