Seahawks linebacker Boye Mafe loves food and he’s not afraid of being turned loose in the kitchen to cook up his own post-game meals. He joined I Cook, You Measure presented by Safeway to make a Carne Asada “crunch wrap.”
It was only my second time assembling a crunch wrap and not only is it easy but I could see it being useful for holiday leftovers – even if Boye disagrees with me on that. Our wide-ranging conversation included:
5:00 – learning to cook and favorite food mom makes
9:00 – Boye makes the mistake I’ve made too often
11:00 – dinnertime as a kid
14:00 – assembling the crunch wrap
19:05 – Virtual Master Chef
There’s a lot more from the conversation including his Draft Day experience and hearing his name called by the Seattle Seahawks in the second round in 2022. You can find that story and more in the Bonus Bites episode here: [ Ссылка ]
