Following the 14th Ministerial Council meeting of Petrocaribe, Venezuelan Foreign Affairs Minister Rafael Ramirez stated that energy exchanges would enable the countries of Petrocaribe's economic zone to complement one another's economies, and to "orient this towards the social development of our people."
