For microbial monitoring in aseptic environments, special culture media plates known as contact plates and settle plates are used. Our ICRplus ready-to-use culture media for surface monitoring or air monitoring are gamma-irradiated and triple-bagged to allow a safe and sterile transfer into cleanrooms by removing one bag per material lock. In isolators used for pharmaceutical manufacturing, the ICRplus plates can be hung up during VHP cycling by the innermost sleeve. Active air monitoring at critical control points is performed with air samplers such as MAS-100 Iso NT® that deliver a certain air volume onto the surface of the ICR plus agar plate.
