It's time to get crafty with Chip & Potato! Let's DIY ornaments with paint swirls for the holiday season! 🎄

SUPPLIES
Clear Plastic Globe Ornaments
Clear Plastic Flat Circle Ornaments
Acrylic Paint
Cups
Character Print Outs
Oversized Popsicle Stick / Dowels
Styrofoam Block
Disposable Bakeware Pan
STEPS
Style #1
Pour paint on the outside of the ornament

Place an oversized popsicle stick into a block of styrofoam, then place on a tray
Remove the top of the ornament and balance the ornament on the stick
Pour 2-3 colors of high contrast paint into a plastic cup, creating layers
Pour the paint over the top of the plastic ornament until it’s fully covered. Experiment with movement to achieve different designs!
Let dry, replace the top, then add your favorite character from Chip & Potato!

Pour paint inside the ornament

Remove the top of the ornament
Put a small amount of one color of paint at a time into the bulb
Swirl/move the ornament around to encourage movement with the paint and cover the whole bulb
Apply up to 3 colors. More than that tends to turn gray or brown.
Place ornaments, top side facing up, into a cup and allow the paint to completely dry. If there’s an excess of paint inside, turn the bulb upside down to drain the excess paint. Watch as the colors drip from the inside!
Once paint is dry you can put the ornament top back on.
Add your favorite character and voila!

Now hang those ornaments on a tree or anywhere else that strikes your fancy!
