In this video we look at installing a 3000 amp bus duct manufactured by General Electric. NOTE: Before installing any bus duct please read the literature supplied by the manufacturer in regards to the bus. Inside the instructions will also be the formula needed for torquing the springs holding the weight of the bus duct. The springs are used if the bus you are installing is a vertical riser going through multiple floors of a building. For horizontal bus duct, a trapeze style racking system with uni-strut should suffice.
