Planned live stream of the Alpine ClubCast 24: Conrad Anker in Queen Maud Land
Join us for an evening with Conrad Anker, one of the most prolific explorers and mountaineers alive today as he discusses the 2017 North Face expedition to Antarctica.
Along with Savannah Cummins, Anna Pfaff, Cedar Wright, Alex Honnold and long-term collaborator Jimmy Chin, Conrad visited one of the world’s last great climbing frontiers: the Queen Maud Land territory. Here they spent a month climbing and establishing new routes on the remote frozen towers of the Wolf’s Jaw massif.
Jimmy Chin and Conrad tackled a new route on the 3,600-foot Ulvetanna and we look forward to hearing about this line as well as the exploits of the rest of the team.
