Thane, Maharashtra, Dec 14 (ANI): The Thane police arrested three persons and recovered Rs. 1.4 crore in new currency from them on Tuesday. The arrested people were trying to exchange old currency in return of new currency. This operation was led by crime branch official Nitin Thakeray and his team. The Crime Branch got a tip off that some people are coming to Thane Railway station and Civil Hospital to exchange a huge amount of money.
