Madrid’s sub-pilot of the C-Roads Project, coordinated by MC30, and in which GMV has participated with other 16 European core members, has implemented actions for connecting with smartphones the road to the vehicle in real-time for safety, traffic efficiency and environmental purposes.
Vehicles were informed so far through radio and variable message panels and now they can receive real-time and specialized messages.
GMV has implemented key technologies on OBUS (On Board Units), RSU (Road Side Units) and smartphone applications to ensure messages are received in real-time and homogeneously. Additionally, GMV has brought experience for the sub-pilot in Madrid at a European Level for the whole C-Roads Project.
