Ms. Marina could not find anything that met the high degree of quality necessary to augment her language time with her own toddler. “Screen time” has become such an admonished phrase but we all find out we end up using it to help manage our daily routines with our children. Ms. Marina believes, and has proven with her own daughter, that there are phenomenal benefits when quality and duration of content is produced.

The production of these videos is based on professional early childhood education research and consultants, using playful nursery rhymes and songs to engage children and get them physically moving. The videos on this channel cover a wide array of topics that have been structured into a “common sense” curriculum for parents that want their child to learn Mandarin Chinese. Some of the videos on this channel incorporate the universally accepted “American Sign Language” (ASL) technique. The use of ASL facilitates non-verbal communication from babies where they learn and use hand gestures to describe their needs before they can actually speak. These, and many other techniques, are some of the secrets that Ms. Marina incorporates from successful parents that reduce anxiety in children and promote true learning and communication. Ms. Marina holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Southern California and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from California Baptist University. Ms. Marina is a lover of Impressionist and Modern Art and has been employed as a technical interpreter for international leadership programs. She is fluent in both Mandarin Chinese and English while at the same time accomplished in Chinese calligraphy.
