New surveillance video captured yet another shooting near Aurora Avenue North, an area in north Seattle notorious for gun violence, drugs, and prostitution.
The shooting happened around 12:20 p.m. Saturday on the 10200 block of Linden Avenue North in Seattle’s Greenwood neighborhood. The Seattle Police Department said responding officers found more than half a dozen shell casings at the scene.
Surveillance video from the area shows a silver Maserati traveling slowly along Linden Avenue North before a silver Jeep pulls up and attempts to block its path.
The driver of the Jeep can be seen getting out of the vehicle before he pulls out a pistol and fires at least eight shots at the driver’s side of the Maserati. At least one other person appears to be in the Jeep, but they cannot be seen in the video.
