Aspen Loop Trail is located on the West side of the san Francisco peaks in Flagstaff near Arizona Snowbowl. Explore Aspen Loop Trail, it’s a 2.7-mile loop trail near Flagstaff, Arizona. Generally considered a easy route, it takes an average of 1-2 hours to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking, running, and walking, so you'll likely encounter other people while exploring.
The best times to visit this trail to catch the fall colors changing is from beginning to end of October depending on how early in the Fall the temperatures start to drop. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash. There are many other connecting trails in the area, plan to explore many more miles of the golden aspen trees making it a fun filled day of exploration. Be sure to bring a hammock, your favorite furry friend, lovely company and escape for a day of serenity.
