Chapter 16 (Ruled by Madness) is cleared in 1 turn (83 total).
This map marks the beginning of warpskipping in this game, as we got the Warp staff in the previous map and both Lute and Natasha are now proud owners of an A rank in staves. It's also our first 1-turn in this challenge run (both the Prologue and Aias's map were 2-turned due to the limitations the challenge run poses - they can be 1-turned under different conditions).
So the requirements are tough to meet yet fairly simple. We need one Warper with 26 magic (24 acceptable if the other Warper has 14+ magic) and we need another Warper with 12+ magic. Lute and Natasha have reached the mag stats necessary for this task. An 8-move bosskiller is warped by Lute - having Swiftsole used on this unit allows them to engage Orson, the boss, at 1-range (possibility of killer weapon usage or effective weaponry), while the warper with the least range (Natasha needed to consume both of my Energy Rings to have exactly 12 magic for this chapter, which is the bare minimum to warp Eirika over the wall) warps Eirika to where we can rescuedrop Lute to be danced and warp Eirika further.
Vanessa has few issues ORKOing Orson. She doubles and 2HKOs with the Horseslayer and, though Orson is rather difficult to hit at times, Vanessa has the hit of a Swordmaster on this one run, so this wasn't a problem. The pierce activation wasn't needed at all - but its appearance is a sign that Vanessa's level has snowballed as a result of all the bosskilling, making Pierce activate often. This is an important thing because without Pierce Vanessa cannot really defeat some of the bosses to come, and the other options are difficult to operate in efficiency settings.
I have some surplus space for other actions. As Myrrh is the newcomer in this map and she can damage the final boss at base level, I start feeding her kills. Every level-up for Myrrh is likely to result in noticeable stat gains. Though tougher enemy types one-round her, she will sometimes gain 2 defence per level-up and quickly prevent that.
Of the endgame 1-turns, this one is possibly the hardest to achieve (very rough requirements for staffers' rank and magic).
Eirika promotes at the end of the map. Who cares at this point.
Chapter 17 (River of Regrets) is cleared in 1 turn (84 total).
Far more lax than the previous map's 1-turn. Just one single Warp and Vanessa is in range to attack Lyon, assassinating whom ends the chapter. This can be done either on the player phase or the enemy phase, and if we postpone it until the enemy phase we can get a bit of experience for some units.
I have Myrrh critkill a Hero for a level-up, and position Eirika in range of two Silver Lance Paladins whom she 2HKOs with a Rapier. Not needed but nice.
Vanessa with her capped strength can 4HKO Lyon with either the Short Spear or the Spear. I can also break a Javelin (I have many of them with few uses remaining) in the middle of the enemy phase to switch to Spear for Lyon, but really, Vanessa's chance of crit+Pierce makes it easy to 2RKO with just a Javelin.
Since we used Warp 3 times in the previous map and once here, Natasha repairs the staff with Hammerne (one use remaining).
