Good day to all you viewers out there! Welcome to my vlog. Today I am sharing my experience of travelling from Rawalpindi to Karachi.
It started off with an overall plan of reaching Karachi in a single day, with an overnight stay in between the journey. With a backpack full of essential needs and some snacks, I felt ready to explore the countryside. We boarded a bus from Rawalpindi and the journey began.
The colorful hilly terrains of Rawalpindi enthralled me. I observed the constantly changing topography of Pakistan, with its majestic mountains, vast deserts and emerald crops. The bus kept winding its way through the hilly terrain of Punjab province. It offered me a blend of tranquility and beauty far from the hustle and bustle of city life.
After few hours of the journey, we reached at a popular halting point for a stopover. This particular stopover had numerous eateries serving local cuisine. I felt instantly mesmerized by the delicious aroma of traditional dishes. For dinner, we chose to enjoy a plate of Panjiri, a local delicacy. It was delicious!
Our bus moved on and the night sky began to set in. We ran into a lot of hills surrounded by dense woodlands. As if nature was playing hide and seek with us. For a few hours, I would be in one place, the next moment I would be thousands of feet away, travelling towards a new unknown location.
The morning sky enlightened us with the beauty of Karakoram Highway. The busy river Indus served as a reminder of the unstoppable life cycle. After what seemed like a longer night, we arrived at our destination, Karachi. I was in awe at the sight of the metropolitan city. The concrete hustle and bustle of the city, along with its busy lifestyle reminded me why I had chosen to travel on this trip.
To end my journey, I took a long stroll along the busy streets of Karachi. It was truly an amazing experience. Although I did not have enough time and resources to travel the entire country, I am glad I could at least experience some of its beauty. And that is why, travelling from Rawalpindi to Karachi was an experience worth cherishing.
