Zita Küng has been in the forefront of Swiss Democracy for Women since the beginning, just 50 years ago. She speaks about life during the 1968 movement, when Swiss women did not have the right to vote yet, the votation of equal rights, the two women’s strikes, and several achievements concerning women’s wellbeing. Zita urges everyone to think about your contribution to the world and to democratic life. As a broad experienced feminist and lawyer, Zita Küng supports leaders in administration, enterprises and organisations in getting gender and diversity issues into action. The results are pleasing to everyone. In the political field, she uses all the techniques she has learned since the 1970s: research and educational projects, events, activism. For the year 2021, when Switzerland will celebrate (only) 50 years of political rights for women, she started the campaign to invite women and men to contribute their analysis, reflection, and view on the past, the present, and on the future democracy. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at [ Ссылка ]
