A quick glimpse into the rural immersion program for Indian Institute of Management's PGDFM students. This was a 15 day field trip during our first year at the institute. we stayed in villages in Maharashtra for a week and proceeded to Mandla (Madhya Pradesh) for the second half of the trip. The objective of this trip is mainly to sensitize future managers to the challenges in rural areas and help them develop the ability to look at business problems from a holistic (Societal+environmental+economic) perspective.
