I’m raising Zebra Longwing butterflies to try to recolonize my Florida garden. It’s been weeks since I have seen one of these butterflies in my garden so I am taking extra steps in raising the Zebra Longwing caterpillars I have to ensure they stay in my garden when I release them as butterflies. In this video I share the details of my plan and show you my caterpillar raising enclosure set up. I can’t wait to get lots of butterflies flying in my backyard garden again.

I live in Florida and I am in gardening zone 10a. I have turned my entire backyard into a butterfly garden and I love sharing the day to day details with you in the hopes of inspiring you to plant or expand your own butterfly garden.
