Mirror Lake (Tasik Cermin) is a pristine lake that is mysteriously tucked deep within one of the clusters of limestone hills in Ipoh. The lake is completely surrounded by huge limestone hills towering over few hundred meters high making it a haven for photographer and content creator lke me. Flying a drone over the lake would be a dream. However, the guide at the lake warned me that many drones have perished when flying inside the limestone formation. There is even some youtube video being made regarding the vanishing drone.
Making a risky decision, I decided to fly over the limestone hills to get the lake scenery from the top. The video footage is spectacular and Im very happy that my drone survived the flight.
