The SME's are a vital instrument in triggering economic growth, they generate about 70% of employment in OECD countries and 45% in emerging economies and contribute immensely to the GDP of the nation.
SME's needs a conducive environment to thrive. However, these businesses needs to build strong working relationships, grow their crafts and groom teams that will be responsive to the demands of the consumers with globalization in mind. Hon. Enemi Alabo George hails from Abalama town in Asari-Toru Local Government Area of Rivers State.

He holds a B.Sc with Double Honours in Political Science/Public Administration from University of Uyo, a Masters Degree in Business Administration and a Masters Degree in International Relations from University of Port Harcourt.
Hon. Enemi spent most of his work life as a banker. He worked with Zenith Bank Plc and left to Fidelity Bank Plc where he resigned as Head of Public Sector Group to run for legislative office in 2015. He is the representative of Asari-Toru Constituency 2 in the Rivers State He has just been re-elected for a second term in office. He is a writer, poet and public speaker. He also engages in Agro enterprise and likes to be called a farmer.
Enemi is passionate about young people and spends most of his time coaching and mentoring them, a social intervention strategist and has worked tirelessly to lift people out of poverty lines.
